About The Outside Bride.

The Outside Bride was created in January 2018 by founders Emily and Alan Braithwaite. The site is designed to inspire, advise and support brides and grooms getting married in the great outdoors, be it a field, a farm, woodland, beach or even a garden of a private home.

As well as the blog site a new community has been created on Facebook for likeminded couples to chat to each other and talk about their weddings.

Photography submissions…

The Outside Bride loves to  showcase real weddings and styled shoots on our blog that are fun, creative, natural and of course featuring the great outdoors. Be it a wedfest, a country garden, a beach, a woodland or a rooftop terrace we’d love to see it!

First and foremost we will need a little information about the wedding day to get started. Once this has been received we can get back to you as soon as possible in regards to whether your submission will be featured on the The Outside Bride Blog. We will then send out a questionnaire and further detail about our image requirements.

In the first instance will need from you:
• 8-10 specially selected images from the wedding day which you feel best represents the most important aspects of the wedding.
• A brief 200-500 word paragraph summarising the wedding day as a whole from ceremony to reception.
For the styled shoot we would also require 8-10 styled images alongside supplier credit and a brief description of your concept.

Please send the images & info via email to [email protected]. If your images are too large to attach to the email please use WeTransfer.com, Dropbox or Google drive.

Alongside The Outside Bride we have also created another community on Facebook specifically targeted towards outdoor wedding suppliers. This group is designed to support, share best practice in the industry and allow for networking nationally with other like minded suppliers.
