Photography submissions…

The Outside Bride loves to showcase real weddings and styled shoots on our blog that are fun, creative, natural and of course featuring the great outdoors. Be it a wedfest, a country garden, a beach, a woodland or a rooftop terrace we’d love to see it!

Real Weddings

First and foremost we will need a little information about the wedding day to get started. Once this has been received we can get back to you as soon as possible in regards to whether your submission will be featured on the The Outside Bride Blog. We will then send out a questionnaire and further detail about our image requirements.

In the first instance will need from you:

• 8-10 selected images from the wedding day which you feel best represents the most important aspects of the wedding so that we can get a feel for your work. We will then request further images if we are happy to proceed. Images can be sent to us via WeTransfer, GoogleDrive or alternatively feel free to send us a gallery link to view.

• A brief 200-500 word paragraph summarising the wedding day as a whole.

We aim to include 80-100 images within a real wedding feature. Although occasional black and white photos are okay we will always favour full colour images.

Inspirational posts and styled shoots

For styled shoots we will require:

An initial 8-10 styled images that you feel best show off your shoot. These can be sent via WeTransfer, GoogleDrive or alternatively you can send a gallery link for us to view.

-A description of the concept for the shoot [ Not exceeding 1000 words please!]

-A full list of supplier credits that need to include supplier websites, email addresses, Facebook and Instagram handles. Without these we cannot guarantee to credit you on social media.

We aim to include 50-60 images within a styled shoot feature. Full colour images are preferred and will always be favoured over black and white.

Please send your submission via email to [email protected]

We are happy to accept resubmissions however we do ask to have 4 weeks before resubmitting to other blogs for any exclusive content so that we don’t clash with any other publications.

Although we are happy to resize, please can you try to ensure that any images you send are no wider than 1200px and that there are no visible watermarks or borders on your images.

Guest article writing

We absolutely love to collaborate with bloggers, magazines and likeminded industry professionals so please do feel free to get in contact if you would like to submit a guest article for The Outside Bride. Please note that if you are a wedding industry professional any guest article must be advice-led and offering value to our readers. Although you would of course receive full link backs to your business our guest articles are not to be confused with sponsored posts of a more advertorial nature. You can find out more about our paid advertorial opportunities by clicking here.
