There is something beautiful to be said for winter sun, the way it breaks through the long dark mornings, and sets casting a golden glow across a landscape before it leaves. Thankfully this realisation did not escape the talented Emma hill photography, who took full advantage of the stunning scenery the Lake District had to offer this time of year, capturing models Hannah & Joel and all the perfect moments which couples share as one. So grab your hiking boots and prepared to be inspired this December, by this lovely team of creative outdoor wedding professionals.
Emma Hill Photography goes on the describe the styled shoot saying “This Lake District elopement shoot was inspired by rich dark autumn winter colours of burgundy and and wild bohemian florals. We wanted the shoot to resemble a story which feels like a real elopement, with wedding preparations in an airbnb, the vow reading by a lake, portraits and a first champagne pop.
After capturing the preparations including the couple writing their own vows, we went to Blea Tarn where we had the vow reading next to the lake, then went up the mountain for adventurous couple portraits.”
We know that the weather in the UK at times can be a bit dreary, but Emma Hill photography and the creative team behind this Lake District Elopement have captured a truly stunning winters day… Thank you! We have just loved every moment of this styled shoot.
