We’re so pleased to be sharing Jacqueline and Bryans’s rustic chic country wedding with you all today. Photographer Nova gives us her thoughts on their beautiful day…

Jacqueline’s vision for her wedding was for a simple yet rustic ceremony that was filled with family and friends in a laid-back, low-key, and vintage atmosphere. Her dream was realized on a beautiful summer day that celebrated a country-style wedding in the most elegant way.

Plenty of love surrounded this pair as they celebrated their love in a big way with lots of family and friends around to share in the excitement of becoming man and wife. The day was romantic, sweet, and fun, and Jacqueline and Bryan both hail from a small town near where I was brought up, so I actually ran into some mutual friends, which made me feel included and so joyful!

As the day started, Jacqueline and her girls got glam in the pair’s lovely farmhouse. As mimosas flowed and laughter echoed, Jacqueline enjoyed the company of her bridesmaids and we captured a cute moment of the girls popping off some celebratory champagne! The excitement was definitely in the air and there was no shortage of smiles!

The bride’s mother helped her put on her wedding dress, which was a perfectly lovely lace dress that complemented the wedding beautifully. Her bridesmaids were thrilled to get a look at their lovely friend all dressed up to become a wife, and their enthusiasm was contagious as well as a few sweet tears as they took in their friend in all her glory!

The maids looked glowing and lovely themselves in fabulous floral dresses that looked so beautiful next to Jacqueline’s lace dress! We snapped some gorgeous shots with the girls holding their pretty bouquets on the couple’s property, which provided just the right backdrop.

Meanwhile, Bryan and his group of guys were prepping in Bryan’s childhood home, which was sweet in itself. We took a few photos of this dapper-looking group and enjoyed some laughs. The guys looked pretty sharp in gray slack and white shirts with pretty peach bow ties. It all flowed very well and complimented the ladies’ looks perfectly!

One of the newest wedding traditions that I simply love is the few moments the couple shares together before the craziness of the wedding, when they look at each other for the first time all dressed up and get to hold hands, whisper to each other, and finally, have that first look at their beloved before becoming man and wife. You could almost feel the electricity in the air as this madly-in-love pair took each other in!

We took some photos of the whole wedding party then headed to Arrowwood, the venue where the ceremony was held. It was perfect, and the intimate ceremony was complete with a big tent, beautiful decorations, and a little pathway that took guests to where the vows would be said; and it was like nothing I have ever seen!

In a magical forest, the bride and groom took their vows in a space that seemed so secretive, romantic, and whimsical. It was beyond words, just so very special and sweet. Afterward, we took photos of the party along with family pictures too. The trees, flowers, and foliage provided the perfect scenery.

The pair shared a very sweet story with me that came full circle at the wedding. When they originally connected at a party after she had returned from a trip to Mexico, she had brought back some tequila to share with friends. Bryan ended up keeping two bottles of the tequila for some unknown reason; as it turns out, he had saved them all this time, and they shared the bottles after the ceremony which made it so special and fun!

Lawn games made cocktail hour even more exciting for guests, then at the reception Jacqueline and Bryan shared a lovely first dance and I enjoyed hearing all of the sweet speeches and toasts. We ended with some lovely shots of Mr. and his Mrs.

A massive thank you to Nova Markina Photography for sharing Jacqueline and Bryans stunning country chic wedding with us!
