Hampton Court Palace Festival…
If you follow The Outside bride Instagram page then you may have noticed that we were incredibly excited to have been specially invited to The Hampton Court Palace Festival, and what a privilege it was! The sun was shining and the Champagne was following, so it was easy to see why so many brides love the Hampton Court Palace gardens. With consistant outside weddings taking place throughout the year, this much sort after venue is a stones throw for Londoners wanting a slice of green heaven for the day. Like most outside weddings you can really make the space your own, and it was great to see various outside venues such as stretch tents and pagodas offering shade and catering for guests.
Having started the evening off amongst the perfectly manicured lawn and trees in the gardens, I could really appreciate the grandeur of the palace stepped in all its history. I wondered around trying my best not to get lost but also wanting to explore as much as I possibly could before being led to dine in the famous banqueting Great hall of Henry eighth. Dreamy! The food reflected the luxury of the surroundings and for a moment you could see why royalty lived here, I just would not swap with one on Henry’s six wives.
To top it all I had my very own seat at the Tom Jones concert which was taking place that evening and I could not have had more fun. My whole evening was open to the general public where you could purchase tickets for the whole experience via the Hampton court Palace festival website. I highly recommend it as an evening out or special occasion because its an experience to remember.
Thanks for reading and to the HRP for having me..
