Today we’re taking you to Savannah for an outdoor wedding styled shoot with a beautiful boho luxe vibe. Styled by Two Chicks and a Trunk and shot by Torianna Brooke Photography.

The team were pleased to give us their thoughts behind the concept…

Tammie says..”The goal was to create a vision that was outside the box and different from your average boho wedding décor and flower arrangements. The vibe of a boho style shoot to me is so natural, creative and peaceful. It speaks the language of love! I was excited to elevate that and bring in some Glam/Elegance by incorporating the venue’s chandeliers and high-end dark walnut Chavarria chairs, walnut stained church pews, and add in some macramé and rose gold accents. We really wanted to embrace the natural environment and give it just the right amount of glam. You just can’t go wrong with a large dream catcher hanging from beautiful pine trees surrounding a happy couple on the most romantic day of their lives. Small touches like this, along with an amazing photographer like Brooke made for a priceless pairing and a beyond successful BOHO Lux styled shoot in our book.”

Torianna said “Savannah, Georgia, is well known for destination weddings with its romantic, cobblestone streets and squares adorned with towering oaks draped with spanish moss. But little do people know on the outskirts of the town is a little gem of a location, hidden just behind the pines. In thinking of a luxe bohemian wedding but staying true to the “boho” style, Chande Pines Plantation was the perfect backdrop. This woodland venue is so enchanting that it can only be found by the chandelier light shining through the pines on a full moon night, unless you have the address of course!

The team selected for this styled shoot are some of the best in the industry and are absolutely amazing to work with. Each can take a vision, refine it and bring it to reality in such a way that is inspiring and simply beautiful. The cohesiveness between the creatives is what really allowed the shoot to shine amongst the chandeliers.”

Chande Pines Plantation, located on what used to be a 50-acre pine tree farm in Pembroke, Georgia, was named to compliment the lush Georgia Pines that surround the property and the 12 ‘chande’liers that hang throughout the outdoor venue and ceremony spaces. As soon as you drive through the gate of the property, you feel a sense of enchantment and are overwhelmed by the romantic elegance and the natural beauty it has to offer. The venue offers an ample amount of flexibility and inspiration that can surely accommodate any client’s vision. They have over 6,200 in reception space (3,200 located under a modern farmhouse-glam pole barn pavilion) and a spacious green meadow with unique looking tree views overlooking a natural spring pond.

The wedding cake

For this shoot, Calley Sholder from The Topiary really took on the Rose Gold aspect! She wanted that to be the main attraction so did a cascading rose gold leaf effect on the cake. Of course the real show stopper was displaying the cake on a swing! Calley collaborated with Tammie Ricks from Chande Pines Plantation and Two Chicks and a Trunk. Having shown her the display that she was envisioning it was brought to life! From the rose gold specs to the defying gravity, this cake quickly became one of her favourites of all time.

The Jewellery

The jewellery for this shoot was provided by award winning Kristen Baird Jewelry. Their mission is to offer a customer-focused experience, while presenting jewellery collections that are not only beautifully designed and skillfully handcrafted, but also bursting with passion, heart and a touch of Southern charm.

Kristen says “Drawing inspiration from my southern upbringing, I inject my work with colours and textures, juxtaposing forms both geometric and fluid, as though the designs might have sprung organically from the serene coastline of Georgia or the glorious hills of Tennessee. Each heirloom-worthy piece contains an authentic feeling of happiness and joy, a sense of nostalgia and an essence of freedom.

We believe in combining ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones with metals of the highest quality, as we utilise and preserve traditional metalsmithing skills to bring our handcrafted designs to life. #MadeintheSouth is something we are proud to say about each piece that leaves our studio.”

With thanks to everybody involved in this shoot.

Much Love
